Using multiple NNTP streams my 4Meg connection always maxxed out as 480k/s but now with supposedly a 10Meg connection it's maxxing out at 700K/s and speedtests report between 5.5 and 6 Meg downstream speed. So, not sure what that's all about. Last time when I went from 2Meg to 4Meg I noticed very little difference in downstream speed originally but it turned out that was due to Zone Alarm (since removed) throttling the speed for some reason.
