I can understand how you feel ,had same problem here with him being on all night and doing very little else .I ende upusing a Linksys WRT54gl router which will let you set the times that you want to allow connection to the internet and then upgraded the firmware with Tomato and that also gave me the QOS option (limit bandwidth).
