Hmm, definately missing some drivers then.
Try right clicking on the Ethernet Controller one and select uninstall. Once it has disappeared, click on the little computer icon with the magnifying glass over it (or click 'Action' and 'Scan for hardware changes')

Done all that is above.
The result was, "new device detected" but it needs the software that of which requires a CD? or should I bring it downstairs and use the internet option and allow it to search on the net for.. updates as such? Currently Im downloading Sp3 and the Video Controller Driver onto USB.
