Re: Securing wi fi net work

1. Realise that you're never going to get a wireless connection completely secure
2. Change the default Admin password for the router, also change the username if it will let you
3. Change the SSID to something that doesn't identify you or the make/model of the router
4. Enable WPA wireless encryption and set it up with a long key, using mixed characters (upper case, lower case, numbers, special characters)
5. Enable MAC filtering
6. If you can be bothered with the extra administrative overheads, switch off DHCP and assign static IP addresses to all your devices
