Try unhooking all devices apart from just one modem and computer.
Also, see if there is a problem with the filer. Take it out. See if it solves anything.

right tried swapping modems over still nothing also i tried just leaving one computer connected nothing else (still seems dead)
I've tried 11 different filters now so i think i can rule that out
now i think i have done everything i can without going up a bt pole any other suggestions or is it time to phone talktalk (and i thought vm Indian call center's where bad until i phoned this lot they make vm look and sound intelligent
)
