Hey guys first post
A friend just got virgin broadband with the supplied netgear wireless router. I set it up for him and everything was working fine. After a day the router would no longer connect wirelessly only through an ethernet connection. So I uninstalled everything and the same thing happened would worked for a few hours then stopped.
The guy in the call centre believed there was a problem with the IP address as there shouldn't be a 169 address I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? The tech support guy thought there may have been a problem with winsock...thats what I've been told anyway, as I havn't had the chance to go round again and take a look at the router.
Also does anyone know the default username and password to configure a netgear router?
