The Phorm webwise technology assigns each user a unique identifier (UID) Thus phorm processes PII as it falls foul of the following:

Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Article 2 Definitions

For the purposes of this Directive:
