Everton could have won a trophy with Rooney there, ok, maybe not as much as Man U, probably never the premiership - but then how are the nearly clubs supposed to win anything if bigger cups dangle loads of money in front of their prize assets?
You (generally i mean)cant approach players under contract and then get in a huff when a bigger club does the same to you. Stinks of hypocricy.

I don't know anyone who says SAF turned him in to the palyer he is - but I know a lot who say he stayed loyal to him during the whole 'winker' thing.
Rooney wanted to go to United because was ambitious and wanted to win bigger trophies - the reason most players sign for bigger clubs. But what else can Ronaldo win at Real?
