The company, Life.com, has recently released a CD-ROM called My Life that encourages people to assemble their memories, thoughts and long-held secrets into a multimedia memoir. My Life asks people to select a electronic cards from 230 categories, like ''Creativity'' or ''As a child.'' Each card poses questions that range from practical to probing.
