Try whatever I might I cant get the 3com router to connect to the 4100 modem. I've tried several known good ethernet cables without avail. I tried connecting the router to friends VM modem and the cable/dsl led lit up steady. Whatever I try when connecting to my own modem the led flicker a couple of times and then goes out.
Do I need a newer modem to wok with this router or am I missing something?
Thanks

That is a very old modem and is not 20Mb capable and probably is the cause of your problem, you need to call Tech Support on 151 and tell them what you posted here and they should replace your modem for you.
