If it's for ADSL the maybe, depends if it detects the line settings OK as it's normally not manually configurable with Orange's firmware,,
But it's a definate NO with VM's cable service...Though I did use a livebox purely as a wireless access point (not as the router) when I first got cable before Orange inisted on it back
