But yet again it's a case of too little too late.IF the government of the time has responded to the situation instead of putting matters on the backburner which seems to be the case with successive governments as well,perhaps we wouldn't be in this ridiculous situation of having to release prisoners far too early.Now the building of prisons is even more expensive than it would have been in the first place.
Short termism yet again.
