Re: Remote Desktop Connection problems with Nvidia AGP

EDIT 2: So I took back the Nvidia 6200 256MB back to Maplin yesterday morning, then went to peesie world and bought a spanking new 512MB ATI Sapphire HD 2600PRO, got it home, tried doing a 3dMark test on it, very respectable results but the screen was all screwed up, while playing Halo online (1 of my new favourite online games) and all the textures was screwed up, psycodelic colours where there should've been solid colours, tried a game of Carmageddon, no graphics at all, googled the card yet again, only to find out that people was reporting that when they opened a video, the sound was there but no picture, so I opened up an XviD that I'd downloaded and guess what, yep no video, only sound.
so I took that back again, and the only lower-end AGP card they had was the Nvidia 6200 128MB card, so I got that.

Remote Desktop is still being a pain, but it aint as laggy & slow if I change my screen res to 1024 x 768, tis strange I know, but this so far is the only way to do it.

Now if I'd known yesterday what I know now, I could've saved myself a lot of time, trouble & money trying to sort this mess out!!

Anyway, ranting & raving over now, still havent solved my problem, but hey, I have a sorta work around for it, it aint perfect, but it will have to do for now!
