Very sad for all involved!
By sheer coincidence, i passed the scene just after lunch on the day that it happened. There were a large group of satellite uplink trucks, cameras on tripods and tv reporters. I wondered what was going on. A few minutes later, listening to the radio,i heard the story.

I passed the scene yesterday again. The sat trucks were still there....I looked but i could not see any sign of the now traditional floral tributes which so often appear at similar scenes. Perhaps its not that sort of area..?

We should value our Police force. Often they are hamstrung by bureaucrats and bureacracy and so are not always as effective as they could be but they are a very very thin blue line between us and the mob.
