If any help, I used to connect to the net on my PSP via the PC by bridging connections
(Wireless PSP -> Wireless USB Dongle -> PC -> Modem ) so I'd have a play about.
You need to bridge the wired ethernet connection in from the PS2 to the wireless connection in Control Panel/Network Connections (presuming XP) and I *think* enable internet connection sharing.
