Maybe in your opinion declaring an intrest in a player is breaking the rules, it isn't for me. Madrid have gone beyond declaring an intrest in a way i can't remember any other club doing. If declaring an intrest is breaking the rules than every club would be guilty so you can't really say what goes around comes around for United.
I think the point is that all clubs are guilty of unsettling a player when they express an interest in them. Clubs shouldn't approach players contracted to another club period if they want to be innocent of unsettling them.

Are you saying its ok to unsettle players and clubs doing things one way, but not another?

But according to some thats ok, because Utd didnt give either of these players cars as gifts, or misquote/quote that they are unsure of what their future is and cant commit to it, on Man Utd TV.
