"If they are confirmed, the accusations run contrary to our understanding of data protection," he said. "The consequences will be tough if misconduct is established."

Perhaps if BT get a new director, he will do the same wrt to secret trials of Phorm? Oh wait, no. They just appointed a new director didn't they? Ian Livingston.
