zone 1 is mainland UK where a 45 cm minidish is required & zone 2 is north of England & Scotland where a 60 cm minidish is required. so using a zone 2 dish in a zone 1 area will obviously give you better results. the recommended minimum signal strength is 50% i brought a zone 1 minidish however they sent me a zone 2 one & only changed me for a zone 1
