Sex rap youth stays in £1000-a-day country house at taxpayers' expense
Quote:
TAXPAYERS are forking out more than £1000 a day so a youth accused of a child sex attack can live in a plush country house.
The 17-year-old is awaiting trial for allegedly abducting and assaulting a primary-aged schoolboy.
But instead of being locked in a young offenders' institution, he is living in a four-bedroomed farmhouse in Dumfriesshire with internet access and satellite TV.
The teenager has seven carers to look after him and has been taken mountain-biking, skating and 10-pin bowling - all at public expense.
