They're being nice
- there's a known issue with some Belkin routers (as detailed already in this thread), which causes them to fully release, and fully renew their IP address every 22 seconds.
This would cause the PC's behind it to lose connectivity for about half a second every 22 seconds - which can cause all sorts of oddities, poor download speeds, hanging you tube videos every 22 seconds! That sort of thing.
To the user it could look like Virgins service is rubbish, whereas in actual fact, its the router thats broken and hurting the service!
