Companies that have a very small existing customer base, and an even smaller grasp of how to develop business often resort to crapping on existing customers in favour of attracting
new customers only - unless the policy is guaranteed to recruit more new customers than the loyal customers they are about to lose, it's short-sighted - but if they are happy and aware of the gamble, they are not afraid to acknowledge this is what they are doing is:
