Is it just me or is that whole statement a complete contradiction if you fear for your safety you lock your bloody door you don't grab a baseball bat and wander outside. Also Trevor i know you won't like to think of it this way but maybe the asian guy sees someone coming towards him with a baseball bat and got a certain idea in his head same idea i would have got. If is was the other way around: the attacked shouted racial abuse at the Asian would that be the same..not racist..i hardly doubt it.
