BTW, it "just works", you can install s/w patches so that end padding actually works correctly unlike the V+ er, as you call it, crap.

I couldn't find answers to all of my questions so, perhaps you might try to sell it to me some more?

It says it would work with digital cable (although there are mentions of bugs) - of course it won't access the HD content, but which of the types of material available on the V+ would I be able to access (still with a subscription to VM, of course)? e.g. standard channels, subscription channels, PPV and catch-up VOD services.

Only one tuner and no HD content... I am curious - but I can't see how this is as good as, let alone better than, my V+ box.... so what are the benefits?
