Gives you confidence in NASA stories like this. When you take into account the "dinosaur" asteroid 65 million years ago, and god knows how many more have hit since, it seems very unlikely the human race will make it to the Andromeda event. Look at the Moon or Mars and see how many impacts they have, which can be clearly seen due to little or no atmosphere and no weathering, it makes you realise our luck will not hold out forever. What we really need is SG1 on hand, and maybe the Asgard.
