What you need really need is a wireless game adapter. D-Link, Netgear and Linksys sell them for around £30. These will allow your PS2 (or anything with an ethernet port) to connect to your wireless router. I use these to connect PC's located upstairs, and an Xbox 360.

Google "wireless game adapter"
Thanks for the perply, i know i could get a wireless game adapter, its just i want to try and do this wothout speniding any more money, do you think a old D-Link router could do the job?

I think its a DSL-G624T
