So it all boils down to trust and accountability when things go tits-up. I personally don't trust a private company with a history in malware production to process my private data with any integrity whatsoever, and quite apart from that, I'm infuriated by their assertion that they somehow have a
right to do so simply because it will be anonymised.
Just because you think that you have the
capability to handle something that belongs to someone else safely doesn't mean you therefore have the
right to.
