I am a Virgin Media customer and have a set top box. It appears that the telephone and broadband internet cables come from the outside box along the wall outside and enter the house into the hall. The broadband cable then runs up the stairs to the computer. Internally there is a cable to the set top box for the tv and a network type cable.
