Hi

Hope someone can help.

I have Virgin media and use their supplied modem. I want wireless within the flat so I've just bought a Netgear 'Rangemax' wireless cable router.

I was expecting that I could plug the white virgin cable into the netgear but seems I must connect the netgear to the Virgin modem via an ethernet cable.

Is this right? is it the most sensible way to proceed? I could take the netgear back if there's a better / neater option (ideally I'd like less boxes / power sockets in use).
