In my experience - those who talk about committing suicide tend not to go ahead thankfully, recognising its irrationality (did i just make that word up ). The ones we should worry about are the ones who say nothing.

Obviously, his problems were out in the open going by the news reports, but had anyone noticed a downward spiral in his mood of recent, or did it go unnoticed

Suicide is always a shame, especially for those left behind
