Cable Forum - View Single Post - Is BT line +Virgin broadband and reliable as VirginMedia cable broadband?

I am planning to move to non-cable area in B'ham. Currently I have VirginMedia cable connection and it's reliable and never disconnects( I am running a web site). They told they will provide me with their broadband but using a BT line. Can this be as reliable as a cable connection?
