Without the workforce, there'd be no business, no products to sell, no tax to be collected.
Similarly with the reports of a small increase in GDP, when used to suggest it's poinless having them, neglects to acknowledge that without them, there would be a greater decrease in GDP, as it is presumed that indiginous workers would fill the gap, when this is clearly not the case. |
You're ignoring the fact that this government is happy to pay lazy trash to sit on their arses claiming dole money while foreign workers come to the country, do the job and send the money home. BTW did you read any of the links, the actual benefit to this country of immigrant workers is tiny, but the benefit to this country of getting a load of work-shy wasters off theirs backsides and force them into work would be immeasurable!
