Excuse me, my little hat-wearing friendly OP, may I refer you to the Wiki article, especially the first line Link

It would appear you are equating two different strains of plants to be the same thing, which is much like saying because you share 95% of your DNA with an anthropoid, you're a chimp..........

To further counter some of your more "imaginative" statements, may I suggest your read the rest of the Wiki, which states, amongst other points -
"Hemp (from Old English hÃƒÂ¦nep, see cannabis (etymology)) is the common name for plants of the entire family of Cannabis, although the term is often used to refer only to Cannabis strains cultivated for industrial (non-drug) use. Theres thousands of pro's for weed i saw a program on TV where they were using it as an alternative for lukemia (ignore spelling) and it was working fantastic on people.
I would say "some pro's", not thousands, myself - it has been used for pain relief; but then again, so has morphine............

and it is a wonder drug how ever much you've been drawn into the propaganda the news fills your head with day in day out,

erm, no - The THC levels in Industrial Hemp are so low that no one could get high from smoking it. Moreover, hemp contains a relatively high percentage of another cannabinoid, CBD, that actually blocks the marijuana high. Hemp, it turns out, is not only not marijuana; it could be called "anti-marijuana".

That's an opinion (imho) that you're entitled to - doesn't make it true, though
