Just a little correction:

1MB = 1024KB
1KB = 8kb
1.02MB = 1044.48KB
1044.48KB + 805KB = 1849.48KB
1849.48KB = 1.81MB
1.81MB = 14.44mb

Also, don't count on the measurements given by the download dialogue of IE, it is an average value of the last several minutes and normally starts with very high values. You should really wait for a while, till you get a stable speed, or use some other software, I personally recommend DU meter.
