It always makes me laugh, when we hear the government say, that we are going to tighten up secruity at the House of Parliament and Heathrow Airport, and what has happened over 48 hours, breached secruity at both places.
I used to work at both places, and it is so relaxed, it is a laugh, l drive round Heathrow every day, and have done so for two and a half years, l have only seen police stops three times, and that is only to check car tax etc, anyone can climb over the fences, due to the workman of T5, leaving there stuff there, and you always get plane spotters, stopping, when they are not supposed too. When l worked at the Houses of Parliament during the recess, they checked out over 500 people for contractors, one month before opening, the same check was done again, and over 300 people were thrown out, the company l worked for, had to sack over thirty staff, and we had one guy who used three names, and he got through each day using different names, no the parliament situation happened 17 years ago, but if people can get in now, nothing has changed INISDE the terminal, secruity is tight, as l have gone through secruity myself, and can vouch for that, but outside is poor.
