a lot of that depends on the quailty of the program ur watching - sport is especially bad..
u sure u cant spend more? for the 800 quid id suggest looking at some older sony models that now go for a lot cheaper.
but i think if ur spending 800 quid with little HD content you may be better off saving a bit more 1000-1200 and getting somthing very flash
