The question now should really be what Mr Livingstone considers to be the worst...
Is it worse to:
1. Hold a position of responsibility and stature and delegate badly without any thought or regard ?
2. Deny they did #1 ?
3. When caught out on #2, Admit #1 and while doing so admit to signing a document that he had not read or understood ?
And this is all on a matter of something rather trivial, what if this was in regards to something of far more importance than just the largest national athletics sporting event held every leap year ?
Personally I think he should not slam the door on the way out, he is obviously several flights of stairs above his station, as are about 95% of them. He could easily apply for a job at the nearest cemetery though...
