Heard about this on the radio, newline cinema paid the up front of Ã‚Â£32k and has renegged on the reas of the deal which was 7.5% of gross box office takings plus a precentage of aftersales DVD's but not merchandise.

Also the Tolkein estate want to remove the licence for the 2 hobbit films from newline cinema as they feel they will not get any monies agreed for the films.

I agree with the estate, why should they trust newline with the Hobbit.
