Agree Warhawk is a great game, I've been playing it since the day it was on PSN for download and I'm still addicted to it ... I'm only 4500 points away from Commander!
Anyway I just noticed today that the 4mb customers are getting an upgrade to 10mb, with 512 upstream... I thought this might give me the ability to host 12 players, but judging by your post, I'm guessing not.
