If I do connect an access point device, will I need to configure it to work? or will it automatically work via the router? ( I know that I have to make my PS3 scan for the access point). Also, can anyone recommend any access point devices? The PS3 will be in a different room approx 15 metres.

Any help or advice much appreciated! Chris135
To be honest with you it will be cheaper (and a lot tidier) to buy a wireless router. You can get them for about £30 now.
