Airliner makes emergency landing

A passenger plane carrying about 100 passengers has made an emergency landing at Leeds Bradford International Airport.

"The aircraft has landed safely," a West Yorskire Fire and Rescue Sevice spokeswoman said.
"They had a problem with one of the engines," she said.
There are no reports of casualties or damage to the aircraft, she added.
