As Rob says, you shouldn't need to set anything up to get your other pc onto the internet, other than power cycling the modem to recognise the different network card.

If you use the router, you don't even need to do that. Simply connect the 2nd pc to the router and you should get instant access to the internet without having to set anything up. I did this a few days ago with my new Vista pc connected to my Belkin router.

Don't see why it shouldn't work with W2k.
