I find it almost as easy to manually record if two programs are consecutive ... You can add as much padding as you want ... This way you have another tuner spare , to record something else if required ... There is still the third tuner to use if you want to watch TV ... I realise that it is easier to use the EPG , but the manual method doesn't have the hassle of wondering about the padding problem when using the EPG for consecutive recordings.
