Re: I have a domain & want to send emails using that address

"I want to be able to send my e-mails using Outlook showing my domain address (eg. mail@mydomain.co.uk) rather than myname1234@ntlworld.com."

Thanks for comments but just to clarify so others will not be put off by the technicalities - senders can send messages OK to mail@mydomain.co.uk because mail-forwarding is simply set up by the domain registrar.

The practical problem then becomes when using a domain to send messages, you want the recipient to know it came from mail@mydomain.co.uk and not myname234@ntlworld.com. You would do this by showing in Outlook/Outlook Express A/C settings, your e-mail address and reply address as mail@mydomain.co.uk. But without VM/NTL noting the domain in the Relay, any messages sent will just get immediately bounced back.

Has anyone been able to send messages using a domain please ?
