I have a linksys wrt54g it is about 3 years old , i thought my modem was dropping my connection but now my router just isn't working , can not connect wirelessly , can not connect if i plug into one of the ethernet ports , everything connects , i get an ip address but internet just doesn't work. If i take my router out of the network and just plug straight into the modem then the connection is fine (but whats the point in a laptop without wireless) . I have updated the firmware , reset the router , turned off all security , and still no change
, any ideas ??
