No one has said you have to stay at one club your whole career, in fact I've said quite the opposite already in this thread, don't you think it strange how some players leave a club and are treated like conquering heroes upon their return. Players should remember when the fans invest emotional support in some one they believe is one of them, who by the players own words is a supporter and they see them move to their biggest rival for free, they'll feel betrayed, miss lead, lied to and conned, the same when a player is photographed by the press wearing another teams shirt whilst still playing for his local, boyhood team, imo he deserves to know how badly he has let people down.

Moving onto Defoe, no one would have said a word if he'd been sold after relegation but oh no, he had to go banging on doors handing in transfer requests on the day we went down, when the clubs very existence was under threat, his selfishness was unforgivable
