Limited Connectivity

Was look as a router problem last night for someone but couldnt solve the issue

They have a D-LINK DSL-G624T router, a desktop PC hardwired and a Laptop connected wirelessly both running xp, both connect fine.

They now have a Vaio laptop running vista home premium and what ever you do you dont ever appear to connect to the router properly. The signal strength is fine but you only ever get limited connectivity.

Google seems to throw up threads stating the router is not vista compatible but i find this hard to believe as the OS should be irrelavent.

Any ideas??
