the dock at the bottom of the xp screenshot is a program called object dock and the icon where from a website called

regarding fedora 8 yeah theres alot of improvements with it , very fast and very stable
ive been using the distro since it effectivly was redhat 4.0
so am used to how it all works hehehe fedora 9 comes out next year and will have kde 4.0 cant wait
