if you are an ex NTL customer & can remember the password you can access your account from http://webmail.ntlworld.com , or ring tech support & once you have passed DPA the tech can migrate the old address from the dial up account to your Broadband account & then you can continue using it.

If you are an ex Telewest/Blueyonder customer, I'm not sure how it works on their systems.
