well your the one that expanded the thread to include it so apparently we are now.

of course anyone that knows hardware to a reasonable degree will know a good P3 with a SATA controller and drive (finish it off with a gigabit card and router/switch to see its full potential)will easly out perform many of the current ARM/StrongARM SOC (system-on-chip) based single NAS kit, and the better P3's even beat several SBC (single board computer) dual NAS, other than the PPC G3/4 and x86-686 based NAS kit.

a simple FreeNAS iSCSI is currently your better/fastest option on any spare x86 kit today if that suits your needs.

but thats BTP, the main point (since it appears the OPs kit is working to their liking as they didnt reply), is that its easy to identify any kit if your given the right info and can then help others.

btw, i dont see 'Someone asked what a homehub was' in this thread, but your other answers are perfectly valid....
