Re: DVD recorder to create DVDs for playback on a standard DVD player

I've got a lite-on with a firewire port but it's the hard disk type (it's a pretty standard feature on most, some even have usb) so you can edit the video, set chapters etc then burn it as a standard dvd. Obviously this cost a fair bit more than a record-to-disk only unit.
